Biography

Jess Morgan joined Simply Good Foods in 2022 and most recently served as Deputy General Counsel, Assistant Corporate Secretary and Vice President of Corporate Affairs. Prior to joining Simply Good Foods, Jess served as Chief Legal Officer and Chief Human Resources Officer at The Phoenix, Inc., where she led both the legal and people function during a period of rapid national expansion. Before The Phoenix, she held senior legal and operational leadership roles at several multi-brand, public food companies, including Conagra Brands, Pinnacle Foods, Inc., and Boulder Brands. She has played key roles in strategic transactions and integrations, including the acquisition of Pinnacle Foods by Conagra Brands in 2018. Jess received her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Colorado Law School, a Master of Urban Planning & Master of Urban Design from the University of Colorado, and a B.S. in Business Administration and Marketing from Colorado State University.
